Paul Butler Associates recruits senior planner

Planning consultancy, Paul Butler Associates, has appointed Julian Austin as a senior planner from Amec.

Austin joined Paul Butler Associates after spending three years at Amec, prior to which he was a planner at Stockport Council.

As part of his role, Austin will lead on delivering planning applications and advising a range of public sector and private sector clients. His range of experience includes delivering residential, commercial, infrastructure and mixed use planning projects.

Tom Flanagan, director at Paul Butler Associates, said: “Julian joins us at an exciting time as we have an ever increasing workbook with new and established clients across the city and region. Julian’s experience in the residential sector will be particularly valuable as we look to deliver a number of key projects in this sector.”
