Patrizia agrees industrial deal in Irlam

Labelling equipment manufacturer Accraply Europe has signed a 10-year lease on a 46,000 sq ft unit at Northbank Industrial Estate at a rent of £6.50/sq ft.

The unit, which has been refurbished by consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton’s building surveying team, is made up of a 41,000 sq ft, single-storey warehouse plus a two-storey, 5,100 sq ft office building.

LSH acted as letting agent on behalf of the unit’s owner, Patrizia. Guy Jackson, LSH industrial director, said: “The new headline rent demonstrates the strong demand for refurbished industrial stock within Manchester’s core locations.

“We expect the market to remain buoyant with unprecedented interest for this type of stock showing no signs of abating.”

Northbank Industrial Estate is located off Siemens Road in Irlam and is home to chemical company the Flint Group and pressure gauge manufacturer Budenberg Gauge.

Colliers International acted as agent for Accraply Europe.
