At this special event, U+I and Place North West hosted leading figures from the worlds of development, architecture, construction, technology, and culture to examine the next era of city growth, including U+I’s ambitious plans for the 24-acre site next to Manchester’s Piccadilly station.

More than 150 attended the event at the Fairfield Social Club, on Tuesday 5 June. The audience heard how the Mayfield site will be reimagined to form a whole city neighbourhood, with influences from overseas and at home blended with innovative design to form a unique new part of Manchester.
