Partners in SimpsonHaugh named
SimpsonHaugh & Partners, formerly Ian Simpson Architects, has released the list of board members who will co-own the company as part of its status as a limited liability partnership.
There are 11 directors in the senior leadership team who have been made LLP partners. These are: Richard Jackson, David Green, Christian Male, Nick Fleming, Kelly Patel, Dave Moyes, Matthew Ayres, David MacDonald, Nick Owen, Mark Savage and Helen Trott.
A statement from SimpsonHaugh said the name change was to "publicly acknowledge the unique and significant contribution" of co-founding partner, Rachel Haugh, and reflect the wider ownership of the practice.
Ian Simpson and Rachel Haugh established the firm in 1987 and have since grown it to become one of the most dominant architectural studios in the city. Clients include Manchester City Council, Allied London, Ask Property Developments and Urban Splash. Nationally, current projects include the 900,000 sq ft redevelopment of Battersea Power Station in London.
Simpson and Haugh are senior partners and board members in the company.
Haugh said: "We would like to take this milestone opportunity in the development of the practice, to thank all our clients and consultants who have supported the practice over the years. We look forward to developing our working relationships over the coming years and what we hope will be exciting times ahead."
