Parkfield proposes 31-home Anglesey scheme
The developer is seeking consent to move ahead with phase six of the wider Parc y Coed development, concerning a two-acre slice of agricultural land west of Talwrn Road.
Llangefni in central Anglesey could host 31 houses after planning consultant Russell-Hughes Cyf submitted proposals to the county council on Parkfield Homes’ behalf.
Plans for a block of four two-bedroom apartments, eleven pairs of semi-detached three-bedroom homes, a single detached three-bed house, and a quartet of four-bed homes have been put forward.
Three of the properties would be affordable homes.
The buildings will employ energy-efficient technologies such as well-insulated party walls and glazed windows to keep bills as low as possible for residents, according to the developer.
Parking will be offered to residents, those living in the apartments will have a communal zone for up to six cars while each of the three- and four-bedroom homes will have three parking spaces each.
The wider Parc y Coed development in the surrounding area will see a total of 144 homes built at Llangefni.
Consultants that advised on the scheme include Land Studio, West Coast Arboriculture and Land Planning, Cambrian Ecology, and SCP.
