Panattoni completes ESG-led Haydock shed
The industrial specialist has reached the finish line on the development of a 66,000 sq ft unit, declaring it immediately available for tenant fit-out.
Haydock 66 is described as offering a prime North West location, two minutes from Junction 23 of the M6, with access to the M62 and wider motorway network.
Panattoni described the 66,094 sq ft asset as “the North West’s most sustainable mid-box unit”, with BREEAM Outstanding and EPC A certifications. CBRE and Box4 Real Estate are instructed as joint agents.
With consent secured from St Helens Council in 2023, Panattoni acquired the site – a 5-6-acre corner plot – from Bericote Properties in June 2025, immediately announcing a start on site.
Features include six dock loading doors and three level access doors, 11m clear internal height, a power supply of up to 500 kVA, and a 55m secure yard.
Dan Burn, head of development for the North West & Yorkshire at Panattoni, described the development to Place North West as “best-in-class”. Explaining further, he said: “We’ve launched a new specification with enhanced features, and this modern facility represents a great new opportunity for the market.
“As the most sustainable mid-box in the region, Haydock 66 sets a new benchmark for quality and environmental performance.”
Panattoni said it continues to respond to strong occupier demand for high-quality, ESG-led logistics space. The firm is also advancing a 675,000 sq ft, £130m project in Warrington with Mitsui Fudosan.
