Pair of Regenda schemes start on site

M&Y Maintenance & Construction has started work on two Merseyside shared ownership schemes, Lister Gardens in Waterloo and Pavilion Point in Aigburth.

The schemes have a combined value of £4.6m and are expected to be completed in August 2019.

The £1.6m Pavilion Point has been designed by Paddock Johnson Partnership and will provide 14 two-bedroom apartments. The scheme has received £518,000 funding from Homes England.

Regenda said that Lister Gardens on Crosby Road North, Sefton, takes inspiration from the art deco style of the former British Legion building on the same road. Designed by John McCall Architects, the £2.5m scheme will be a mix of 17 two-bedroom apartments and three one-bedroom apartments. Homes England has provided £800,000 funding for this scheme.

Gill Kelly, managing director of M&Y Maintenance and Construction, said: “We are delighted to be starting work on two fantastic sites in the region.

“As an organisation, we are continuing to grow the construction arm of our business and this demonstrates how far we have come over the past few years.”

Fiona Coventry, managing director of Regenda subsidiary Redwing Living, said: “We are really looking forward to bringing high quality, affordable homes to the Liverpool City Region, and helping first time buyers get on the property ladder.”

Looks nice design, reminds me a bit of similar buildings in St Johns Wood in London.

Really nice. Has an art-deco feel. Good scale, good materials, respects its neighbours. 8/10.

Where about in Crosby Rd North, is it the former British Legion building, and prices would be nice.
