Outsourcing firm expands in Wrexham

Moneypenny, the telephone answering and outsourced reception provider, has acquired additional land with planning permission for a new office development in Wrexham.

The land, acquired from Liberty Properties, is next to Moneypenny's existing headquarters in Yale Business Village, Wrexham Technology Park and will allow for an 8,000 sq ft extension.

The target date for completion of the construction is June 2011.

Ed Reeves, co-founder and chief executive of Moneypenny, said: "This is a significant milestone for the company. We have been operating very successfully in Wrexham for more than ten years now and this expansion is an illustration of our commitment to Wrexham and the region. With this additional space we are able to recruit more high calibre employees locally, whilst continuing to grow our nationwide network of clients."

DTM Legal based in Chester advised Moneypenny. Matthew Robinson, consultant at DTM Legal who led the transaction, said: "This is a significant deal in the current economic climate. We are delighted that our commercial property and investment team has been given the opportunity to extend the firm's relationship with Moneypenny by facilitating its expansion in this way."
