On The Green tees off at Liverpool One

The golf simulation concept is to launch its debut venture within a 4,700 sq ft unit at Grosvenor Group’s city centre retail complex.

The Warrington-based firm, founded last April, will occupy space on the Terrace, overlooking Chavasse Park.

On The Green will provide an “immersive golf experience” that allows customers to play virtual 18-hole rounds of golf on a number of the world’s top courses, according to the company.

In addition to its four golf simulators, the facility, the latest leisure venture to commit to Liverpool One following Boujee Bar’s arrival last year, will feature a bar and events space.

Alison Clegg, director of asset management for Grosvenor Group, said: “Securing the debut for On The Green’s new experiential concept further establishes our position as a leading destination.

“It is fantastic that Liverpool One is the first choice for local independent operators as well as big national names, and we look forward to seeing On The Green thrive as part of this well-balanced mix.”

Matt Hatchard, director of On The Green, added: “We were selective when searching for the perfect location at which to launch On The Green, and Liverpool One, with its outstanding mix of leisure names, open-air environment and attractive terrace, really stood out to us.”

On The Green joins Liverpool One’s existing leisure offer, which includes Roxy Ball Room and Junkyard Golf.

Metis and Savills acted for Liverpool One. On The Green dealt directly.

An altogether different golf experience to add to Liverpool`s choice of courses. Let`s not forget the charming vista that Chavasse Park overlooks.

I love golf but it rains a lot in Uk. So indoor will be nice. I also like to drink. When’s it open?
