OBI adds two to building consultancy team

Martin Gizzie and Chris Howson have joined OBI Property’s building consultancy team, taking the company to seven people within OBI, which now employs 25 at its Mosley Street, Manchester office.

The pair will primarily work on project management, contract administration and dilapidation projects. Gizzie, a chartered commercial building surveyor, has worked in the industry since 2001 and has spent the past 16 months with WYG as an associate director. Prior to that, he worked for Bruntwood for 12 years.

He said: “I admire the passion OBI demonstrates through the projects it delivers. I look forward to putting my experience and skills to good use.”

Howson, who has a masters degree in building surveying from Sheffield Hallam University, previously spent four years with Gray Scanlan Hill in Manchester. He is working on several refurbishment projects for OBI’s landlord and occupier clients in the city.

Dominic Horridge, director and head of the building consultancy team, said: “At OBI Property, we are ambitious and driven by our passion to deliver innovative solutions for our clients. Martin and Chris will be a great fit for the company and will further strengthening our existing team.”
