NSM hires property manager

The industrial asset manager has appointed Sandy Ratcliffee to the post, based at the company’s regional office in Warrington.

NSM manages more than 4.3m sq ft of industrial property across the North West and Yorkshire, and also markets many of those properties, handles lettings, and oversees the delivery of new build assets to join the portfolio.

It has a national portfolio of assets under management valued at £237.5m, and manages 669 industrial units in total with a rent roll in excess of £14m, the firm says.

Ratcliffe, a chartered surveyor, joined NSM last month as asset and property manager, from his previous commercial lettings and sales role at Legat Owen in Chester.

He held that post for just over years and prior to that worked as a graduate surveyor for agency Matthews & Goodman for two years in Liverpool. The 25-year-old graduated from Reading University in 2015 with a degree in real estate.

Nicky Jones, managing director of NSM, said: “Sandy is a great addition to the team and has settled in very quickly despite the current turbulent climate. His knowledge of the North West property market is sure to be a great asset for us.”

Ratcliffe added: “I’m thrilled to have joined NSM at a time when its client base is growing strongly alongside the interesting property portfolio it already holds.”
