Nova takes 10,000 sq ft in Liverpool
Tech company Nova has relocated from the Baltic Triangle to a 10,000 sq ft office in the North Docks area, with plans to support a further 40 start-up businesses this year.
The company is finalising a fit-out of Box Studios on Boundary Street, in the North Docks near Sandhills station. The former warehouse was opened as a creative hub and flexible office space in 2011.
Tech company Nova was founded in 2014, and partners with entrepreneurs to provide mentorship, guidance, and funding. It provides services including design, software engineering, and marketing, and becomes a 50-50 business partner with start-up business after the first year.
The company has co-founded 80 tech start-ups and has plans to support a further 40 by the end of 2019.
Andy Davidson, chief executive of Nova, said: “We are thrilled to be establishing our base in the North Docks.
“Being so close to projects like Make Liverpool and the Ten Streets Regeneration means we are at the centre of the action, and by renovating the building specifically to our needs we have been able to create a space to allow us to continue to grow and to encourage the creativity of our entrepreneurs and employees.”
Nova acted for itself on the deal.
There is so much up and coming talent in Liverpool and this is another great portal for their outlet and growth.

Great to see tech expansions into the North Docks. Sandhills has fast Merseyrail connections to the city centre and is 10 minutes walk from Everton’s new stadium, Ten Streets, and the Titanic Hotel.
