Northern Trust secures two new occupiers at Sandbrook

The first phase of Northern Trust's Sandbrook Business Park, totalling 9,860 sq ft, in Rochdale, is almost fully let following the securing of two new occuppiers.

Computer technology provider, CNT, has agreed a 10-year lease on the 4,080 sq ft Rowan House at £14.25/ sq ft, while the literacy learning service Everyday Skills has taken a five-year lease on the 2,505 sq ft Maple House building.

James Nichols of WHR Property Consultancy, letting agents for the project, said: "Sandbrook has benefited from a shift towards leasehold accommodation by occupiers as a result of bank funding becoming far more problematic to secure and this trend will only continue over the coming years. We are currently in dialogue with another occupier for Cedar House which would leave phase one of the scheme almost fully let."

Matthews & Goodman are joint letting agents.
