Northern Trust finishes speculative Shadsworth scheme

Northern Trust has launched its 46,000 sq ft speculative office and industrial development at Elder Court, Shadsworth in Blackburn.

The three-acre scheme is made up of 28 units and sits alongside the developer's existing serviced office centre, Number One @ The Beehive, on Shadsworth Business Park.

Neil McManus, development surveyor at Northern Trust, commented: "Elder Court is an excellent addition to the Northern Trust portfolio and provides a range of property solutions for local businesses. The easy in, easy out leasing strategy on our workshops gives new and growing businesses the flexibility they need."

The project includes 22 workshop units ranging from 530 sq ft to 2,750 sq ft and there are six hybrid units of offices with storage space from 3,300 sq ft to 4,150 sq ft.

The park is next to junction 5 of the M65, approximately two miles from Blackburn town centre.

Five units have already been let and six are under offer. Joint agents for the scheme are Whittle Jones North West and Taylor Weaver.
