Nolan Redshaw reports industrial deals in Heywood

Seddon Developments has completed two transactions at its Axis Point development in Heywood.

Hydro Tech Lifts, which offers lift maintenance and support to businesses, has taken a 2,500 sq ft unit for an undisclosed sum. The accommodation will act as Hydro Tech's northern regional office.

Controlled Air Solutions has also bought the freehold of a further unit, measuring 2,700 sq ft, for an undisclosed sum as part of its continued expansion plans. The company supplies, maintains and installs air conditioning systems across the region and is headquartered in Waterfold Business Park in Bury.

Steve Manifold, surveyor for Nolan Redshaw, agent on the scheme, said: "The transactions to Hydro Tech and Controlled Air Solutions mark the continuing success of Axis Point as a speculative industrial scheme. There are only three units remaining on site, with a number of parties considering the space at present."
