Zaha Hadid recital room shows sell out

The combination of a specially created concert room designed by superstar architect Zaha Hadid and intimate solo performances of JS Bach's work has proved a winner for Manchester International Festival.

All nine piano, violin and cello evening shows between 4 and 19 July have sold out. There are a few seats available for free lunchtime shows.

Hadid's 200-capacity chamber music hall is installed in the Manchester Art Gallery and will remain until the end of August, after the MIF has finished, for architecture lovers to admire.

Daytime entry to the installation is free. Main sponsors of the MIF include developer Bruntwood.
