WUKPG plots 205,000 sq ft Stockport industrial scheme

Vauxhall Industrial Estate on Greg Road in Reddish is in line to be redeveloped into 28 units ranging from 4,000 sq ft to 13,500 sq ft.

Western UK Property Group, headed up by director Oliver Lipson, has lodged a planning application to overhaul the eight-acre Stockport site, creating a 205,000 sq ft industrial scheme.

The units would be delivered across five blocks.

All existing buildings on the site would be demolished to make way for the new-build units. The last remaining tenants exited the industrial estate earlier this year and the complex is now vacant.

Stockport Council granted consent for the demolition of some of the buildings on the site in 2019 under plans lodged by Oxford Park.

WUKPG’s project features parking spaces for 173 vehicles.

C4 Projects is leading on the design of the scheme and SATPLAN is the planning consultant.
