Wright advises Isle of Man on CPOs

Eric Wright, partner at Liverpool-based commercial property agent Hitchcock Wright & Partners, has been appointed to the panel of official arbitrators by the Isle of Man government.

His role as arbitrator will see him called upon to resolve disputes involving land, usually where the government is acquiring it compulsorily.

Wright said: "I'm honoured to be appointed by the Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man. It is a privilege to have been considered, I hope the accolade reflects my years of experience and knowledge of the industry and I am committed to providing a quality service to the panel and the Isle of Man when required."

Appointed for a five-year term, Wright will perform his duties as defined by the Acquisition of Land Act 1984, to resolve land and property disputes without bias or personal interest in the assets concerned.

Wright was one of the founders of Hitchcock Wright in 1992.
