WR Estates signs gaming firm in Wigan

Himor Group subsidiary WR Estates has reported an industrial letting at Bradley Hall Trading Estate in Wigan.

Pub gaming machine distributor Jones Supernova Games has signed for 7,100 sq ft at the estate in Standish, near Wigan. The company signed a five year lease on warehouse and office accommodation which will serve as their headquarters. The quoting rent at the unit is £30,000 a year.

The 430,000 sq ft estate is owned and managed by WR Estates and is home to 100 tenants. Himor is a private investment company controlled by Langtree founder Bill Ainscough and his son Will.

Paul Wrigglesworth, head of property at WR Estates, based in Newton le Willows, said: "From Jones Supernova Games' first viewing to signing the lease took under three weeks which is rare in the current market. We had just completed a refurbishment so it was good to see that investment pay off so quickly. I understand there are exciting times ahead for the company, so hopefully we will be able to accommodate them for many years to come."

Bradley Hall Trading Estate is around 90% full, with this letting following expansion by tenants including chemical firm Bitrez Group and local micro-brewer Prospect Brewery.
