World-class golf course for UK Sports Park complex

UK Sports Park has been granted planning permission to create a £10m family sports park, including a golf course replicating some of the world's best par three holes, on Childwall Valley Road in Netherley.

Golf course architects Weller Designs was commissioned to create the course, on the site of the former Lee Manor high school, which will feature a nine-hole par three course featuring versions of the 12th at Augusta, 8th at Troon, and 17th at Sawgrass.

A crazy golf course, world competition standard fishing lakes, a running and cycling path and 11 all-weather floodlit Astroturf football pitches will also feature on the sporting complex.
