Work to start on Lightbox this month
Construction is due to begin on the first project in Peel’s £1bn second phase of development at MediaCityUK.
Lightbox is a 238-apartment scheme, comprised of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments across 19 storeys on a waterside plot in Salford Quays.
The flats were launched to market for sale in May 2016, with prices starting at £134,000.
The development is the first of two residential elements granted planning permission in March 2016, as part of the £1bn expansion plan for MediaCityUK. The overall plan includes 540,000 sq ft of offices, 1,800 apartments, retail and leisure, public spaces and a pedestrian street running through the scheme.
Lightbox is expected to be completed in early 2019.

MediaCityUK is delivered in a joint venture between Peel Land & Property and Legal & General.
