Work starts on £4m Warrington care home

Bolton-based G&J Seddon has started work on a £4m care home for CareConcepts in Warrington.

The 60-bed facility is being funded by The Royal Bank of Scotland's healthcare team.

Following a national tender by Warrington Council, CareConcepts were awarded the contract to build and operate a 60 place care home and 20 place day centre on the former Chestnut House site in Appleton.

The home will open in March next year and create up to 80 new jobs.
