Work begins on £20m Knowsley sheds
Prime Property Consultancy has begun construction of three units at Knowsley Industrial Estate totalling 130,000 sq ft.
Knowsley Council granted the developer planning consent for the project last year and with construction now beginning, the scheme is scheduled to complete before the end of the year.
The £20m development , designed by Building Design Northern, is to be constructed off Acornfield Road, the main spine road that runs through Knowsley Industrial Estate.
The development comprises units of 31,482 sq ft, 47,453 sq ft and 53,269 sq ft.
“We are delighted to be building these new warehouses in Knowsley,” said Imran Younus, commercial director for Prime Property. “We know the estate well and there is very little available stock in the area currently. We expect all three units to be let prior to completion.”
CBRE and B8RE have been appointed as joint agents to market the scheme.
Started work here at 15 and it is really good to se the old Industrial Estate prospering and, most of all providing jobs.
