Wirral housing site sparks developer auction

Agents Hitchcock Wright & Partners are inviting best bids by 21 September for a prime residential opportunity with planning consent in Eastham, marketed on behalf of Wirral Metropolitan College.

Outline planning consent was granted earlier in the year for 55 homes on the Carlett Park Campus off the A41, which currently contains college buildings, a small grade II-listed chapel and mature woodland.

Nick Harrop, partner at Hitchcock Wright & Partners, said: "This is a rare opportunity for a developer to acquire a site with residential planning consent in such a desirable location on the Wirral. The site is situated on the edge of the green belt in a mature woodland setting and overlooks Eastham Lodge Golf Course and Eastham Country Park. The site is conveniently located for access to the motorway, Liverpool and Chester and there are some excellent schools and leisure facilities in the area. The response to the marketing campaign has been excellent."

Hitchcock Wright is sole agent on the land.
