Wirral awards £347k campaign to Energy Projects

Environmental charity Energy Projects Plus has been awarded a two-year contract worth £347,150 to help promote Government-backed grants aimed at eradicating fuel poverty.

Two campaigns – one for 'warmer homes' and another for energy efficiency grants – will be run from the EPP office in Wallasey between August 2009 and April 2011.

The charity was formed in 1995 and has worked with councils in Vale Royal, Crewe, Halton and Wirral.
