Winsford trade counter plans submitted

A joint venture between Kier Property, Yorvale Investments and Maple Grove Developments has submitted a planning application to Cheshire West & Chester Council for an industrial and trade counter scheme in Winsford.

Artis Park will be located at Road One in Winsford Industrial Estate, next to the high profile Tiger Trailers development, and when complete will provide 13 flexible units ranging in size from 3,450 to 26,620 sq ft, totalling 112,200 sq ft. The site is six miles from junction 18 of the M6.

Tom Gilman, managing director for Kier Property (North), said: “This is the second industrial joint venture undertaken in partnership with Maple Grove Developments and Yorvale and demonstrates that true collaboration can drive opportunities forward and make new schemes happen.”

Joint agents on the project are Legat Owen and Gerald Eve. Jason Print, partner at GE, said: “Having now submitted the new planning application, we are really excited about the scheme moving forward. There is a lack of new industrial and trade accommodation serving Winsford and the surrounding areas.

“Artis Park will provide a mix of smaller units which will be attractive to a range of industrial and trade occupiers.”

Subject to approval, construction is expected to start in spring, with units set to be available towards the end of this year.
