Windfarm installer chooses Preston

Tustin Developments has agreed a 10-year letting on 13,000 sq ft to renewable energy firm Myriad CEG Wind in Red Scar industrial estate, Preston.

Myriad CEG Wind will use the office and warehouse for its main UK turbine assembly and distribution centre.

Phil McVan, managing director, said: "Our move to Preston means that we now have all our operations based on one site. That will help give us even more focus on growing and developing our business and providing our clients with the very best renewable energy strategies that work for them.

"Preston is a fantastic location for us, with its excellent communication links and the wealth of energy expertise that exists here that we can tap into.

"The new headquarters is a major investment in our future and means that nationally Preston is now at the heart of wind technology development in the UK.

"As we grow we hope to be able to expand our workforce and create more jobs for the local area.

"These are exciting times for Myriad CEG Wind and for our committed and dedicated workforce in Preston."
