Williams Tarr wins Alpla warehouse contract

Warrington-based Williams Tarr Construction has been selected to build a 36,000 sq ft extension to the head office and production facility of plastic bottle manufacturer Alpla in Wigan.

Williams Tarr is due to commence work in April on the £1.3m design-and-build contract at Stonecross Park, Golborne.

John Hughes, design and build director of Williams Tarr Construction, said "We are delighted to have been awarded this important project for Alpla; it's great to win work from local companies and help safeguard local employment. Most of our contracts are undertaken for private sector clients, on industrial, commercial and retail projects across the North West."
