Williams Tarr toasts trio of wins

Warrington-based construction company Williams Tarr has won three contracts in industrial and retail sectors across the region.

The firm has started on site with the 9,000 sq ft design and build of a new light industrial unit and associated external works for NDC Engineering at Trafford Park.

NDC is a Manchester-based electric repair and maintenance service that specialises in complete care of rotating electrical and mechanical assets. The build programme is due for completion in April 2014.

Williams Tarr is well underway with foundations on a new £2.7m high bay warehouse development for RoDO Group at Langham Street in Ashton-under-Lyne. The 45,000 sq ft building is scheduled for completion by May 2014. RoDO supplies the Blackrock brand of performance work wear and safety equipment and is the largest supplier of decorating sundry products to the trade in the UK.

Finally, Williams Tarr is carrying out an internal demolition and strip out of five retail units and reconfiguration to form two new retail units, including communal core areas and a replacement goods lift for Santander (CF Trustee) at Crompton Place Shopping Centre in Bolton. This 16-week contract will be due for completion at the end of February 2014.
