Williams Liverpool renews BMW showroom

Motor dealer Williams Liverpool has appointed Seddon Construction to build new showroom facilities for both BMW new and used car sales.

The two-storey development will almost double the size of the family-owned car showroom in Great Howard Street from 7,180 sq ft to 13,692 sq ft. The 16-week project began at the end of January and is due to completed in June.

During the redevelopment, the BMW showroom will be relocated to temporary units next to the Williams MINI showroom on Great Howard Street and remain open for business as usual.

David McGoldrick, pictured, dealer principal at Williams Liverpool, said: "This ambitious project represents an important strategic investment to allow us to achieve our growth ambitions across all areas of the business."

He said 2014 would be a landmark year for BMW with the launch of new and updated models such as the new X3, 4 Series Convertible, 2 Series and i8.

Architects for the new dealership were Taylor Design and Ridge Property & Construction acted as quantity surveyors.

Can’t tell if that comment was meant to be sarcastic! Good to see a local business doing well and having the confidence to expand.
