WHR hires graduate
WHR Property Consultants has appointed Alex Rothwell as a graduate surveyor in its asset and property management team.
Rothwell joined WHR from Dandara.
At WHR he will work with Graham Aitkenhead in the professional team and Matt Beddow in the asset and property management department.
The Manchester-based consultancy acts for a number of local landlords, property companies and blue chip clients including Next, River Island, The Fragrance Shop, Derwent Holdings as well as Bem Brasil and Cancer Research UK.
Graham Aitkenhead, partner at WHR, said: “We have experienced an incredible surge in new contracts wins in the last six months including most recently Telford Plaza UK Ltd, which has appointed us as the managing agents on its 165,000 sq ft landmark office building in Telford city centre.
“Since Matt joined us earlier this year to establish our dedicated asset and property management team, we have been looking to boost our team. Alex will provide a valuable resource to enable us to provide the high level of service that our clients have come to expect from us.”
Alongside Rothwell’s appointment, Harry Skinner, who works in the office agency team, has been promoted to senior surveyor.
WHR employs 30 people in its Manchester city centre office.
