Whittle Jones site goes mobile

Demand from property professionals and potential occupiers accessing the internet on the move has led Whittle Jones Chartered Surveyors to launch a mobile version of its website.

The practice with headquarters in Chorley, Lancashire, said analysis of data revealing how the company's website was accessed over the last 12 months led to the launch.

Rosalyn Booth, portfolio & marketing administrator at Whittle Jones, said: "We are delighted to have launched the new look mobile version of the website.

"Having closely monitored the analytics on our website and over the last 12 months, in particular we have seen a dramatic rise in the number of visitors being generated from mobile platforms.

"We quickly realised the benefits of having a streamlined version of our website with a simpler search function and easy navigation for the smaller screens, and users can even still visit the desktop site if they so wish."

The Whittle Jones portfolio consists of industrial/trade and office accommodation in over 4,000 units, with unit sizes ranging from as little as 76 sq ft to 50,000 sq ft.

Rosalyn continued "We are always on the lookout for new innovative ideas to incorporate into our marketing initiatives and the mobile site was a natural progression
for the direction of marketing activity."
