West Lakes URC seeks energy programme director

West Lakes Renaisance, the publicly-funded urban regeneration company for Furness and West Cumbria, is creating a 'divisional board' to take forward its Britain's Energy Coast masterplan of nuclear and renewable energy projects.

The URC is advertising nationally for a programme director, salary unspecified, to deliver "a wide range of physical regeneration projects".

The masterplan includes an energy skills academy, a specialist hospital with radiology research facilities, offshore wind farms, as well as commercial space to exploit ongoing opportunities arising from the decommissioning of Sellafield.

The deadline for applications is 23 January.
