Webster Estates plots Skelmersdale office expansion

After acquiring Maple Court earlier this year, Webster Estates has put forward plans to build three blocks totalling 18,000 sq ft at the business park in Skelmersdale.

Webster is proposing to build the three offices on a vacant plot next to the existing buildings at the park, which was delivered in 2008 and sits off Junction 4 of the M58.

Plans have already been put forward for the first phase, which will increase parking provision to alleviate traffic problems on the site, and now, working with architect Leach Rhodes Walker, Webster has submitted proposals for 18,000 sq ft of offices, along with a further 70 parking spaces.

Each of the buildings will be identical in size, covering 6,035 sq ft each over two floors in a rectangular layout. Many of the existing buildings at Maple Court are multi-let, and the new-builds will be available as either bespoke single-let offices or for multiple businesses.

Tenants in the existing business park include the contractor CPUK, which has its headquarters at Maple Court; Lifting Gear UK; NFU  Mutual; All About Food; and J&K Confectionary.

The professional team also includes Crookes Walker; Shepherd Gilmour; Ecology Services; KMC; Maple Planning; and TPM Landscape. Nolan Redshaw is the agent.
