Warrington warehouse sold to cable supplier

Acting on behalf of J&M Property Management, WHR Property Consultants has disposed of 21 Kingsland Grange, a 42,954 sq ft unit, to Cleveland Cable.

The unit, which was being marketed at £1.55m not refurbished, will serve as Cleveland Cable's new regional distribution centre following relocation from smaller premises elsewhere in Warrington.

Gary Chapman, associate partner at WHR, said: "We completed this transaction in less than three weeks, which is a reflection not only of Cleveland Cable's commitment to the building and their determination to secure the deal but also the fact that there is increasing confidence from occupiers who recognise that supply of good quality stock is rapidly diminishing."

Catterall & Co acted for Cleveland Cables. Savills was the joint agent.
