Warrington & Co beefs up for ‘important phase’

Warrington's urban regeneration partnership, Warrington & Co, has strengthened its board and operational team in preparation for several major developments in the town.

Developers Matt Crompton, joint managing director of Muse Developments, and John Downes, chief executive of Langtree, have both joined the board.

Steve Park becomes managing director on secondment from Warrington Council. Freelance consultant Mark Dawe, formerly of Miller Developments, has joined the team and will work for three days a week on key projects.

Peter Crompton, director of regeneration consultancy BE Group and chairman of Warrington & Co, said: "It is an important time for Warrington. Birchwood Park is performing extremely well and there are exciting announcements ahead for strategic initiatives such as Omega and the Stadium Quarter. With plans already in place for the regeneration and development of Bridge Street Quarter in the heart of the town centre, there are lots of exciting opportunities ahead.

"Warrington & Co operates under the guidance of a predominantly private sector led board, to promote economic development and physical regeneration in Warrington, so Matt Crompton and John Downes are welcome additions to strengthen the team. In addition, both Steve and Mark will help us deliver Warrington's plans to reality."
