Warner reports deals at Middleton Shopping Centre

Retail asset manager Warner Estate Holdings has signed up two new tenants at Middleton Shopping Centre, while two existing occupiers are to move to larger stores at the scheme.

The Home Centre is taking the 18,000 sq ft unit on the top floor of the scheme, selling discounted end-of-line furniture and fireplaces.

The Shaw Trust is opening a charity shop at the centre adjacent to Wilkinson, raising funds for its work supporting disabled and disadvantaged people with their careers and promoting independent living.

Internacionale has renewed its lease for a further ten years while local business, Bobby's Shoes, that has been trading from the Bazaar for six years, has moved to a shop unit at the centre as part of its expansion drive. This follows on from Holland & Barrett's move to a larger store at the centre in October 2010.

The centre has also welcomed a local fresh fruit and vegetable trader to the centre in recent weeks.
