Warehouse fills last plot at Appleton Thorn

Permission has been granted for a 50,000 sq ft speculative warehouse on the last vacant plot at Appleton Thorn Industrial Estate in Warrington.

Backed by Luxembourg-based Powerhouse Propco II Sarl, the warehouse includes offices and landscaping. The application was put together by P4 Planning with design by AEW Architects.

The 4.5-acre site sits to the northern edge of Warrington South Distribution Park, located within the wider Appleton Thorn Industrial Estate.

Charlotte Fowler, associate at P4: ““The vision for this scheme is to deliver a sustainable development on what is the only remaining vacant plot at the distribution park. It is already a preferred location for industrial and distribution users and approval of the application ensures our client can help realise its full potential by welcoming a new occupier to the site.”

DTPC provided transport advice and FPCR advised on ecology. Gardiner & Theobold is project manager.
