Walsh takes key occupier role with Savills

Mark Walsh has joined the Manchester office of Savills to work at director level in the firm’s worldwide occupier services team.

Walsh has previously had spells as head of office for both Cushman & Wakefield and Gerald Eve in the city and has more than 24 years’ experience in the industry, most recently with his own consultancy business Corporate Property Strategies.

He has been tasked with establishing a presence for the corporate account management in Manchester, advising corporate occupiers on the strategy and optimisation of their real estate portfolios.

Jeremy Bates, head of EMEA occupier services at Savills, said: “Mark has a wealth of experience in the occupier sector and is a well respected, established advisor in the local market”

Walsh said: “It is a very interesting time in the market for occupiers, particularly corporates who may be looking to manage their portfolios in order to ensure they are performing in line with their overall business strategy. I am very pleased to join the Savills team and am looking forward to working with the wider national and international network.”
