Walker Sime hires associate director

Walker Sime has expanded its project management department in Manchester with the appointment of associate director David Hillier.

Hillier spent 10 years working for Pozzoni Management Services as director and project manager, followed by eight years running his own consultancy DI Hillier.

Walker Sime’s project management team advises on several large projects in the North West, including the £50m redevelopment of the University of Manchester’s Business School with Bruntwood; a £15m student accommodation scheme called The Ascent in Liverpool with Park Lane Developments; and the refurbishment of Formby Hotel Golf Resort & Spa.

Hillier said: “I recognised the drive, ambition and hands-on approach at Walker Sime. I wanted to join the company to support growth and aid the continued development of the Project Management service line and strategic opportunities.”
