The immersive reality software and solutions company has relocated its headquarters from Chester House in Sale to Think Park on Trafford Park, taking 11,300 sq ft.
The deal, advised by Manchester-based commercial property agency Canning O’Neill, sees Virtalis move from 3,500 sq ft into the whole of the first floor of Building Three at Think Park, which measures 11,300 sq ft. The firm will be on a 10-year lease with a five-year break.
This is the second deal for Canning O’Neill at Think Park, after having acquired 10,000 sq ft of office and laboratory space on behalf of international flavouring company ADM Wild UK in August 2018.
JLL advised Think Money on the move, as Virtalis took a sublease from the company.
Virtalis is backed by European tech growth investment firm Alpina Partners. The company provides visualisation technology to companies for design, manufacturing, and training information.
Andrew Finn, CFO of Virtalis, said: “As technology lies at the core of what we do, it’s imperative that the space supports our line of work. With exceptional facilities, high quality offices in a well-located, and established business location, Think Park provides the optimum environment for our company as we gear up for our next phase of growth.”
Mark Canning, director of Canning O’Neill, commented: “Virtalis were keen to remain in a similar geographical area, yet be in a location that would help them attract and retain talent. Having successfully relocated ADM Wild UK, we were confident Think Park would be an attractive option for Virtalis; with the deal complete, the company will relocate later this month.”
