Vindon completes move to Kingsway Business Park

Pharmaceutical supplier Vindon Scientific, the first occupier to arrive at the 420-acre Kingsway Business Park in Rochdale, has completed its move to new £3.3m premises.

AIM-listed Vindon moved from Saddleworth having exchanged contracts with Wilson Bowden in December 2007 for a 50,500 sq ft base.

Patrick Jackson, director of Vindon Scientific, commented: "The new facility is four times larger than the old one and provides significant capacity for growth in both manufacturing and on-site storage. We've already started the recruitment process too, and this will continue in line with our expansion plans. The support services made available by the Kingsway partnership are unrivalled and we look forward to playing our part in the renaissance of Rochdale."

Ian Tulloch of Wilson Bowden added: "Vindon have been hugely successful in recent times and I'm glad we're able to accommodate them at Kingsway. The transport links they'll have are the best in the North and there's a great catchment area to recruit from."

The three remaining units on Plot E are 19,679 sq ft, 34,307 sq ft and 33,500 sq ft and are now ready for occupation.

Kingsway has overall consent for 3m sq ft of industrial and distribution space, 300,000 sq ft of offices and 200,000 sq ft of retail and leisure.

P3 Property Consultants and JLL are the appointed property agents at Kingsway.
