Vinci lands £25m Jewish schools contract
Vinci Construction UK will this month start building the new King David High School, Primary School and Kindergarten in Liverpool.
The schools will be contained in a single building on the current high school site. The building will also host the Harold House Jewish Community & Youth Centre.
The work is part of Liverpool's £500m Building Schools, Skills, Success scheme, with additional funding provided by the King David Foundation.
The council said it will create the largest Jewish campus in Europe. King David accepts students from other faiths and the new facilities will be open for use outside school, to all members of the local community.
The school, which is currently in a 1950s building with small classrooms and narrow corridors, will form part of a central campus.
