Villafont has submitted a planning application to Salford City Council for a 380-flat development in Woden Street.
The apartments are a mix of one-, two- and three-bedrooms and will be available for private rent. Once completed the scheme will be managed by Villafont's in-house PRS operator Downtown.
The development includes a 2,000 sq ft retail unit and a gym, café and meeting room.
Villafont said the scheme would be "aimed at executives and young professionals who want convenient, hassle free, city centre living" with an "integrated hotel service".
Villafont is part of McGoff Group. Sister company McGoff & Byrne will be the contractor on the development once planning has been approved.
