Video: Spinningfields supports Earth Hour

Spinningfields developer Allied London is urging restaurants and businesses across Manchester to switch off their lights for an hour on Saturday 28 March at 8.30pm in support of the World Wildlife Fund's Earth Hour.

The developer has joined forces with Manchester's Pub and Club Network to back the initiative, with Carluccio's and Gourmet Burger Kitchen in Spinningfields hitting the switches. Spinningfields Management Company will follow suit and office occupier HSBC has agreed to turn off lights in its offices in 33 countries. Carluccio's Earth Hour activity will take place across all 40 of its restaurants nationwide.

Other property companies supporting the Earth Hour include Jones Lang LaSalle, dimming offices in 75 cities around the world.

It helps that Earth Hour is on a Saturday night.
