Venmore prepares for 2011 auction

The auctioneer has 39 lots available at its next sale taking place at the Hilton Hotel in Grosvenor's Liverpool One development in February.

The auction is offering residential, commercial, and development opportunities for landlords and investors, with lots located across Merseyside.

Stand out lots includes a converted one-bed Victorian flat on Sefton Park Road with a guide price of £69,000.

A seven-bed corner property off Smithdown Road, with a current income of nearly £20,000 a year, is also available to buy.

19 Anfield RoadVenmore said another highlight in the property auction will be the 12-bed property on Anfield Road. The Victorian mansion has planning permission to use the property as a hotel and has a guide price of £99,000.

Speaking about the property, Nick Ball, head of Venmore Auctions, said: "Although the property is in need of refurbishment, it is of substantial size and in an excellent location. With its proximity to Liverpool Football Club, it would attract many of the football fans if ran as a bed and breakfast."

One of the commercial lots included in the auction is the former Probation Service building in the Westvale area of Kirkby in need of some refurbishment. The property offers 3,770 sq ft of mainly ground floor office space and has a guide price of £69,000.

Ball added: "This specific property, subject to acquiring the necessary planning consent could be suitable for a variety of use, for example a children's nursery, and the ample parking is a definite bonus."
