Liverpool-based auction house Venmore is calling for lots for its final auction of 2011 on Wednesday 30 November.
The auction takes place at 1.00pm in the Hilton Liverpool One and the closing date for submitting lots is 31 October.
Geoff Guest, auction director, said: "Offering your property at auction is a wonderful opportunity to condense the usual sales and negotiation process into a matter of minutes to make a quick, simple sale. As this option comes without chains and buyers are in a position to commit and pay a deposit straight away, most sales are completed within 28 days.
"Buying at auction is becoming more and more popular, especially for investment in buy-to-let properties, with the lettings market stronger than ever and an ever-growing influx of students each September that require housing. We are encouraging landlords to make the most of the current market and invest while purchase prices are low and prepare for high demand in the next academic year."
Guest added: "2011 has been full of ups and downs for the property sector as a whole, and auctions are no exception. We're looking forward to ending the year on a high at an auction packed with highly desirable lots that can be exchanged before the year is out."
