Valentine rejoins Dunlop Heywood

Rating specialist Dunlop Heywood has welcomed back John Valentine to head up a new building consultancy division in Manchester.

Valentine will work on instructions from ING Real Estate, Spindles shopping centre in Oldham, Church Square shopping centre in St Helens and Strand shopping centre, Bootle.

Valentine began his career in the property development department of Asda in 1992, where he spent three years before joining Davis Langdon & Everest. He joined Dunlop Heywood Lorenz as a senior surveyor in 2001 and progressed to associate director. He moved on in 2006 to CS2 to open its Manchester office and joined WHR Property Consultants in March 2010, leaving in January this year.

Stuart Hicks, director and head of Dunlop Heywood Manchester, said: "It's great to have John back in the Dunlop Heywood fold. We worked together for many years and I was keen to get John on board bringing his consultancy and client-side experience with him. He and Chris will make an extremely strong team with their combined skills."

Dunlop Heywood also announced the appointment of Chris Threlfall as consultant in valuation. Threlfall had been working for himself for the past couple of years. He previously worked for DTZ and Eddisons.
