US inward investor expands at Plaza

Bruntwood has completed a 22,575 sq ft letting to ServiceSource at the Plaza in Liverpool.

The deal, which exchanged at the end of last year, was the largest office letting in Liverpool of 2012. The American back-office company agreed a 10-year lease for its new premises in the building, where it first took 12,000 sq ft in 2010.

Martin Moran, general manager, ServiceSource International, said: "Liverpool is our youngest service centre and already one of our most successful. We are delighted to be aggressively expanding our presence in the city. We have found a tremendous talent pool in Liverpool from which to develop our teams of highly skilled and motivated sales professionals. The combination of business infrastructure coupled with a talented pool of multi-lingual speakers makes this an ideal location for ServiceSource and we look forward to further success and expansion of our business in this vibrant city," says

Colin Forshaw, head of sales at Bruntwood in Liverpool, said: "Since 2010 we have worked closely with Servicesource to understand their strategy for future growth. This process has enabled us to facilitate their expansion twice within The Plaza which is testament to our commitment to supporting businesses through periods of growth and expansion."

Mark Worthington, director of CBRE, advising ServiceSource, said: "Not only was this the largest letting in Liverpool last year but it is particularly pleasing that a technology company like Servicesource, who only located in Liverpool in 2010, has decided to invest further in the city. "

DTZ and Matthews & Goodman acted on behalf of Bruntwood.
