University refreshes various frameworks

University of Manchester has named suppliers to separate frameworks for asbestos clearance, maintenance and repair services and waste disposal.

Four firms were named on a £500,000 asbestos consultancy services panel for the next three years, with two possible extensions each of one year.

The companies were:

  • Shield On-Site Services, Newcastle-under-Lyme
  • Redhill Analysts, Dorking
  • Environmental Essentials, Newcastle-under-Lyme
  • First Order Red, Mansfield

Two firms won places on the building maintenance services roster, for the same duration. The winners were Novus Property Solutions of Stoke-on-Trent and SPIE / Garside & Laycock in Preston.

Enterprise Manchester Partnership, Preston was named as the sole supplier for a £500,000 waste collection and management contract awarded jointly by University of Manchester, University of Salford and the Royal Northern College of Music.
